Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fedor Vovchanchyn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Albert Sojka!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sojka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vovchanchyn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Albert Sojka has been cut.
Sojka feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vovchanchyn sprawling to the canvas! Vovchanchyn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sojka finish him?!
It looks like Fedor Vovchanchyn has been cut.
Vovchanchyn throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Sojka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vovchanchyn circles away quickly and effectively.
Sojka falls off balance throwing a combination
and Vovchanchyn counters with a right hand that sends Sojka tumbling to the canvas! Can Vovchanchyn finish him? He dives into Sojka's guard looking to do just that!
Sojka is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sojka wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Vovchanchyn manages to pass to side control.
Sojka is still in real trouble! Can Vovchanchyn finish him?
Vovchanchyn with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Vovchanchyn looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Vovchanchyn throwing shots but Sojka is blocking nicely.
Vovchanchyn scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Vovchanchyn is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sojka!
Oooh a big shot lands for Vovchanchyn! Sojka is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
