Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergey Shipilov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juanito Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Escobar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shipilov.
Shipilov throws a shot from downtown. Escobar moves away and avoids it.
Escobar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Escobar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shipilov throws out the jab.
Escobar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Shipilov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Shipilov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Escobar pulls his head out easily.
Shipilov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Escobar is working away from the top position though.

Escobar is looking for a kimura but Shipilov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Escobar to get the leverage.
