Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seth Smith (ranked 1230 p4p, 2147 weight class) and Diego Armando (ranked 168 p4p, 273 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Armando!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith is looking to clinch.
Seth Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Armando looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.

This has been an exciting period of action!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Armando dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Armando has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Smith might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Smith has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Armando lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Smith takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Armando counters with a huge left! Smith is in big trouble! He's backing up but Armando isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Smith from any more damage. A dominating finish by Armando!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Armando!
