Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pehtori Pojankivi (ranked 2583 p4p, 3134 weight class) and Methodios McIntyre (ranked 304 p4p, 362 weight class). McIntyre is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gallantry. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pehtori Pojankivi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Methodios McIntyre!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntyre staying out of range there.
A jab from Pojankivi misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McIntyre scores with a jab. Pojankivi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Pehtori Pojankivi has been cut.
McIntyre lands with a shot to the body.
McIntyre misses with a head kick.
McIntyre throws a hook but Pojankivi avoids it easily.
McIntyre throws a push kick but Pojankivi slaps the foot to one side.
McIntyre misses with a hook.
Pojankivi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McIntyre.
McIntyre slips a straight right by Pojankivi.
McIntyre staying out of range there.
We've been told by Pojankivi's head coaches at House of 1000 Corpses that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pojankivi throws a half hearted mid kick.
McIntyre walks into a left hand.
McIntyre throws a push kick but Pojankivi slaps the foot to one side.
Pojankivi scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like Methodios McIntyre has been cut.
Pojankivi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McIntyre finds it's way round the side to connect with Pojankivi's head.
McIntyre catches Pojankivi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
McIntyre rushes Pojankivi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pojankivi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McIntyre drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Pojankivi right on the button. Pojankivi goes down! McIntyre follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! McIntyre gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Methodios McIntyre!
Methodios McIntyre decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
