Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kip Stern (ranked 24158 p4p, 4483 weight class) and Joel Osmond (ranked 541 p4p, 461 weight class). Stern comes into the arena with Fight blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osmond fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Stern is out of range.
Stern is looking to counter the offense by Osmond and move into the clinch.
Osmond waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stern.
Osmond looks for the body kick but Stern saw that one coming.
Stern moves out of range of the body kick from Osmond.
Osmond misses with a body shot.
Stern throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Stern throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Osmond sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Osmond follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Stern connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Osmond momentarily.
It looks like Joel Osmond has been cut.
Stern scores with a nice body kick.

Stern rushes Osmond and presses him up against the cage.

Stern throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Osmonds head.

Stern works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Stern drops Osmond onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Osmond is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Stern lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Stern creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Osmond with a big uppercut! Osmond tries to clinch up but Stern pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Osmond to the mat! Osmond covers up and Stern unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kip Stern!
After winning the bout, Kip Stern thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Joel Osmond spoke after the fight, saying 'I was clearly outmatched, nothing else to say.'.
