Averyanov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drago's Entrance Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Averyanov throws the left hand but Thai avoids the punch easily.
Thai with the counter takedown but Averyanov avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Averyanov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thai wants to counter with a clinch but Averyanov pushes him away.
Averyanov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Averyanov throws a lazy uppercut

and Thai decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Averyanov's guard.
Thai prevents Averyanov from getting back to his feet.

Thai postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Averyanov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thai, into his guard.

Averyanov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Thai cranks the arm and Averyanov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Averyanov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
