Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Slam (ranked 68 p4p, 168 weight class) and Noah Anderson (ranked 11 p4p, 27 weight class). Anderson has chosen Bassically by Tei Shi as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ben Slam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noah Anderson! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Ben Slam has been cut. Ben Slam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Slam. Slam obviously looking to wear him down.
Slam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Slam misses with a right hand and Anderson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Anderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Slam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson. Anderson misses with a straight right. We've been informed that Anderson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Anderson moves out of range as Slam strikes. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anderson! But no joy. Anderson throws a body kick that misses. Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. An attempted straight right counter from Slam misses the target. Slam throws a lazy uppercut
and Anderson counters with a stiff right hand. Slam fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Anderson on the side of the head.
It looks like Noah Anderson has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson throws a lazy right hand but Slam sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Anderson moves out of range of the body kick from Slam.
Slam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slam ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anderson moves away. Slam throws out a loose jab but Anderson uses good head movement to avoid it. Slam looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A head kick misses from Slam. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anderson! But no joy. Slam looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Slam uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Anderson. Slam misses with a hook. Anderson throws out a counter right but Slam avoids it with no problem. Slam misses with an uppercut
and Anderson counters with a head kick. Slam ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A jab from Slam does it's job there. A head kick misses from Slam. Anderson appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slam lunges at Anderson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Anderson's hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slam throws a lazy right hand but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Anderson throws a push kick but Slam slaps the foot to one side. Slam scores with a decent looking hook. Slam throws a right hand that misses
and Anderson counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Slam lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That has opened up Noah Anderson's cut even more. Slam smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Anderson is rocked! Slam is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Anderson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Anderson is out cold! Slam holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
