The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munhoz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Inhanamoto to the ground. Munhoz is now in Inhanamoto's guard.
Munhoz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Inhanamoto is keeping the position for now.
Munhoz trying to control but Inhanamoto is working from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Inhanamoto can do anything to dispel that myth.
Munhoz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Munhoz tries to move to mount but Inhanamoto blocks the move with his legs.
Munhoz has an Americana. Inhanamoto didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Munhoz is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Munhoz hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
