Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Crawley (ranked 1791 p4p, 1358 weight class) and Rickson Silva (ranked 268 p4p, 200 weight class). Crawley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Barbarian Overlords - The Ambassador. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Crawley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rickson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Crawley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Crawley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crawley sprawls well. Crawley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Bob Crawley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Silva.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Crawley counters with a thumping low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crawley slips under a jab from Silva.
It looked like Crawley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Silva misses with a takedown
and Crawley makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Silva throws a series of punches but Crawley avoids them all with ease.
Crawley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Crawley counters with a head kick. That will keep Silva thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Crawley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Crawley connects with an inside leg kick.
Silva throws an overhand right that lands on Crawley's shoulder, as Crawley tries to avoid the shot.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Crawley makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crawley circles away.
Silva fails with the takedown.
Silva looks winded!
Crawley ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva moves to clinch but Crawley breaks away
and Crawley counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva misses with a takedown
and Crawley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A counter left hand to the body from Crawley misses its target.
Crawley lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Crawley counters with a huge head kick that drops Silva! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Crawley!
A relieved looking Bob Crawley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Rickson Silva was interviewed post fight and said 'He was juiced to the gills and his corner had rubbed grease on his body so I couldn't take him down. And he smelled like R-Kelly's sheets....piss'.
