Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristoffer Rud (ranked 3023 p4p, 3943 weight class) and Sour Diesel (ranked 352 p4p, 426 weight class). Rud comes to the cage accompanied by Run Boy Run. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sour Diesel!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel jabs Rud to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Diesel lands a slapping body shot.
Rud looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It seemed like Diesel was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rud fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diesel sprawls well initially but Rud persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rud wants to control but Diesel is keeping him busy.
Rud is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Diesel is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
