Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sugar Ray Karter (ranked 1702 p4p, 2144 weight class) and Adrian Adamos (ranked 242 p4p, 290 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sugar Ray Karter !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adrian Adamos!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamos darts in and clinches Karter up against the cage.
Karter tries to land knees in the clinch but Adamos avoids the damage to the body.
Karter tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Adamos misses with a body punch.
Karter missing with knees to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Adamos.
Adamos has a couple of punches blocked by Karter .
Adamos misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Karter unloads a knee to the mid-section.
A bit of stalling here from Karter .
Adamos lands with a left to the head.
Karter prevents a body shot from Adamos.
Karter blocks an uppercut.
Adamos pushes Karter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Karter digs a right hand underneath Adamos's ribcage. Adamos let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Nice body punch from Adamos.
Karter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Karter lands with an uppercut that bounces Adamos off the cage and back into range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adamos slips under a jab from Karter .
Adamos swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Adamos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Karter can pounce on him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adamos drives through and clinches with Karter against the cage.
Karter 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Karter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Adamos avoids the body shot from Karter .
Adamos throws a quick inside leg kick.
Karter is looking to slow Adamos down with leg kicks.
Adamos misses with a left hand
and Karter counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Adamos throws an overhand right that lands on Karter 's shoulder, as Karter tries to avoid the shot.
Adamos misses with a hook
enabling Karter to counter with a crisp jab.
Adamos lands a body shot.
Karter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Adamos blocks a jab.
Adamos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Karter 's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karter tries to move into range but Adamos moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Adamos walks into a jab.
Karter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karter pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sugar Ray Karter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adamos misses with a left hand
and Karter counters with a nice uppercut.
Adamos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Karter throws a hook but Adamos avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Karter scores with a jab.
Adamos ducks under a wild hook from Karter .
Karter misses with a hook. Adamos ducked under it nicely.
Adamos slips a jab and a cross from Karter .
Adamos is looking for the big counter here.
Karter throws a body kick that misses
and Adamos counters with a stiff right hand.
Adamos misses with a body shot
and Karter counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Karter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Adamos counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Karter lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Adamos scores with a jab to the body.
Adamos swings away with a body shot that misses
and Karter counters with a nice uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Adamos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Karter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Adamos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Karter misses with a looping right.
Adamos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Karter throws a lazy uppercut
and Adamos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Karter throws a jab but it's blocked by Adamos.
Adamos appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Karter goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Karter misses with the body kick
and Adamos counters with a straight right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sugar Ray Karter will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Adamos tries to clinch but Karter moves out of range.

and Adamos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Good standup being displayed there by Karter as he connects with a hook.
Karter throws a right and a left that Adamos avoids nicely.
An inside leg kick lands from Karter .
Karter ducks under a wild hook from Adamos.
Karter throws a push kick but Adamos slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adamos pounces like a tiger and cracks Karter with a vicious hook! Karter is down but not out! Adamos follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Adrian Adamos!
