Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Diggs (ranked 2916 p4p, 3921 weight class) and Kamil Krahujec (ranked 394 p4p, 486 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Diggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kamil Krahujec!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krahujec shoots in for a double leg but Diggs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Krahujec is defended easily by Diggs.
It looked like Diggs wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Diggs throws a lazy head kick

and Krahujec counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diggs won't be happy with that.
Krahujec fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Krahujec is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diggs has escaped the position, nice work there.

Diggs is trying to control Krahujec's posture but Krahujec avoids it.

Diggs moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Krahujec.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diggs wants to stand but Krahujec has his arm trapped.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Krahujec is looking for a sweep.
Diggs tries to stand but Krahujec is controlling his head.
Krahujec is trying to improve his position.
Krahujec is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Diggs's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Diggs ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Diggs's corner calls for a 1-2. Diggs obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Krahujec gets a takedown into half guard.

Krahujec looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Diggs is defending against the submission attempts here by Krahujec.

Krahujec thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Diggs's head.
Diggs is trying to control but can't.

Krahujec is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diggs is just riding it out for now. Krahujec eventually gives up the hold.

Krahujec stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diggs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Diggs swings widly with a right hand

and Krahujec counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Krahujec.
Krahujec throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Diggs works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Diggs looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Krahujec working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Krahujec has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Krahujec drops back looking for a leg! Diggs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diggs manages to kick Krahujec off! Krahujec jumps back into Diggs's guard.

Diggs has his foot on Krahujec's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krahujec works his way back into a safe position though.

Krahujec drops back looking for a leg! Diggs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diggs manages to kick Krahujec off! Krahujec jumps back into Diggs's guard.

Kamil Krahujec showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
