Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ken Aoiki (ranked 4362 p4p, 3851 weight class) and Janue Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Aoiki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Janue Parker!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker lands a lovely overhand right.

Aoiki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parker's guard.

Parker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Aoiki is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Parker.

Aoiki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Aoiki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Parker has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Aoiki escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Aoiki!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Parker tries to reverse the position but Aoiki maintains control.
Aoiki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Aoiki's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Aoiki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parker for as long as he can get away with.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circling - Aoiki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It seemed like Parker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Aoiki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Parker was covering up waiting for the punch and Aoiki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aoiki is looking to stand up but Parker won't let him.
Aoiki is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Parker can do to turn this around?
Aoiki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Parker looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Aoiki has picked Parker up and slammed him! Parker can't keep hold of the triangle and Aoiki manages to pass to side control!
Parker is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Aoiki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Aoiki takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Parker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aoiki's head.
Parker connects with a looping right hand.
Parker takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ken Aoiki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aoiki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Aoiki is pressing down on Parker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Parker is holding on for now.

Parker looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Aoiki pushes past his half guard into mount!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aoiki, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
