Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Linkavitch Chomofsky (ranked 780 p4p, 352 weight class) and Tagnarach Kamara (ranked 103 p4p, 46 weight class). Chomofsky kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mastodon - Sleeping Giant. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Linkavitch Chomofsky!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tagnarach Kamara!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chomofsky comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Chomofsky lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kamara at a distance.
Chomofsky fails with the takedown.
Chomofsky throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kamara's waist but Kamara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chomofsky off to one side.
Chomofsky misses with a takedown attempt
and Kamara counters with a good low kick that Chomofsky was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Linkavitch Chomofsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chomofsky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kamara pinned against the cage. Kamara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chomofsky fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kamara counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Chomofsky throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kamara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kamara wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kamara scoring well with a low kick there.
Kamara pounces like a tiger and cracks Chomofsky with a vicious hook! Chomofsky is down but not out! Kamara follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tagnarach Kamara! Tagnarach Kamara retains his welterweight title!
A very excited looking Tagnarach Kamara made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
