Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yip Man Iii (ranked 415 p4p, 248 weight class) and Kurt Cobain (ranked 65 p4p, 44 weight class). Cobain has chosen Smells Like Teen Spirit as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kurt Cobain enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt Cobain!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobain takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Man Iii closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Man Iii has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cobain finds it's way round the side to connect with Man Iii's head.
Cobain takes a swing at Man Iii's ribcage but misses.
It looked like Man Iii wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cobain looks to score with a jab to the body but Man Iii is just out of range.
Cobain has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cobain lands a head shot.
Man Iii takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cobain throws a hook but Man Iii avoids it easily.
Cobain throws an off balance right hand
and Man Iii counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cobain thows a leg kick but Man Iii checks it
and Man Iii connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cobain misses with a right hand
and Man Iii cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cobain misses with a low kick.
Man Iii tries to counter with a takedown but Cobain is quick to defend against it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cobain.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cobain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That kick from Cobain tenderised Man Iii's leg. Man Iii is trying to keep his angry face on.
Cobain lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice defenses there by Man Iii.
Man Iii swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Cobain lands a body shot.
Cobain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Man Iii.
Cobain misses with a hook. Man Iii ducked under it nicely.
Man Iii ducks under a wild hook from Cobain.
Cobain thows a leg kick but Man Iii checks it
and Man Iii cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cobain lands with a good body shot.
Cobain lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Man Iii takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cobain looks to score with a jab to the body but Man Iii is just out of range.

Cobain thuds a left hand into Man Iii's body.
Cobain misses with a wild body shot.
It looked like Man Iii wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cobain lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Man Iii has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Man Iii and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cobain throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Man Iii throwing a counter right hand but Cobain manages to avoid it.
Cobain throws a leg kick
and Man Iii counters with a crisp right that sends Cobain to the canvas! Man Iii follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Yip Man Iii very nearly forgot to thank New Standard amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
