And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Clarke!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handerson lands a nice shot to the body.
Handerson lands an overhand right.
Clarke with a poor takedown
and Handerson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Clarke shoots and misses
and Handerson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Handerson enables Clarke to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Handerson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Handerson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Clarke throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Handerson's body to avoid the submission. Handerson has instead reached around Clarke's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Handerson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
