Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wesley Hardin (ranked 3447 p4p, 2242 weight class) and Fezzik Montoya (ranked 380 p4p, 274 weight class). Montoya has chosen The Other thing as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Wesley Hardin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fezzik Montoya!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya lands with a straight right. Hardin didn't see that one coming.
Montoya throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hardin swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Montoya dips to his left and cracks Hardin with an uppercut!
Hardin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Montoya throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hardin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Montoya misses with a wild body shot.
Montoya tries to clinch up.
Montoya connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Montoya lands with a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Montoya's corner calls for a 1-2. Montoya obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hardin swats away the attempt to clinch by Montoya.
Montoya fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hardin, pushing him back against the cage.

Montoya jumps guard but Hardin stands there with Montoya around his waist. Montoya gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Montoya is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hardin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Montoya has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hardin after a bit of a struggle.
John Wesley Hardin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fezzik Montoya.
Montoya jumps guard but Hardin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Montoya has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hardin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Montoya has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Montoya tries to pull guard but Hardin forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Montoya is trying to drag Hardin to the mat but Hardin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
