And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Chan!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Darius Henderson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nomura circles away from the clinch attempt
and Nomura counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chan won't be happy with that.
Nomura tries to move into full mount but can't pass Chan's legs.
Chan is looking to regain half guard here but Nomura keeps moving and retains side control.
Nomura has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Chan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nomura yanks on the arm and Chan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nomura.
