Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paavali Kontiainen (ranked 855 p4p, 894 weight class) and Duck Dodgers (ranked 129 p4p, 138 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Duck Dodgers was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paavali Kontiainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Duck Dodgers!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Dodgers.
Dodgers throws a low kick but Kontiainen moves out of range easily.
Dodgers rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Kontiainen to counter with a crisp jab.
Dodgers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kontiainen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dodgers misses with a leg kick
and Kontiainen counters with a stiff right hand.
Dodgers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kontiainen manages to avoid it.
Dodgers misses with a low kick.
A big left from Dodgers misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kontiainen clobbers Dodgers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dodgers throws a leg kick
and Kontiainen counters with a straight right hand.
Kontiainen scores with a head kick. Dodgers tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dodgers lands a nice shot to the body.
Kontiainen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Dodgers throws an off balance right hand
letting Kontiainen counter with a right hand.
Dodgers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kontiainen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dodgers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dodgers! But no joy.
Kontiainen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Paavali Kontiainen has been cut.
Kontiainen misses with an uppercut. Dodgers saw that one coming.

Dodgers cracks Kontiainen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dodgers has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kontiainen to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dodgers lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kontiainen's sensitive parts.

and Dodgers counters with a nice right hand that sends Kontiainen toppling to the canvas! Kontiainen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dodgers finish him?!

Kontiainen is rocked!

Paavali Kontiainen's cut is getting worse.
Kontiainen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kontiainen is breathing heavily.
Kontiainen bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Dodgers comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kontiainen falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kontiainen was out before he hit the floor!
