Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nedser Kiely (ranked 1330 p4p, 2144 weight class) and Brock Hardman (ranked 195 p4p, 309 weight class). Kiely comes into the arena with Hammer Smash Face blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardman swings around for an armbar but Kiely sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hardman's guard.

Kiely got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hardman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kiely has managed to get both his arms back between Hardman's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kiely holds on and takes a little breather.

Kiely manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hardman's best efforts.

Hardman is looking for a kimura but Kiely is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hardman to get the leverage.
Hardman uses his free foot to push down on Kiely's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kiely.

Hardman is working for a guillotine from mount but Kiely frees his head quite easily.
Kiely wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Kiely rolls, trying to escape but Hardman keeps control of the position.

Hardman is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kiely is defending well though. Hardman let's go of the attempt for now.

Well, with Hardman on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Kiely is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Hardman might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

After winning the bout, Brock Hardman thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Nedser Kiely was interviewed post fight and said 'I did not loose this fight, the ref was not watching what was happening. I am bringing LAFC to court.'.
