Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shane O Malley (ranked 533 p4p, 659 weight class) and New Breed One (ranked 47 p4p, 55 weight class). O Malley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Someone Like Me - by: Jon Connor. New Breed One has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane O Malley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, New Breed One!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by O Malley.
One shoots in looking for a takedown but O Malley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing One's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
One tries for a takedown but O Malley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
O Malley appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
O Malley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of One's head.
Nice straight punches there by O Malley. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of O Malley.
A momentary lapse in concentration from O Malley enables One to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. O Malley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
One chips away with some ground and pound.
O Malley has One pulled in close to control his posture.
O Malley keeping moving, preventing One from controlling successfully.
O Malley controls One momentarily but One frees himself.
One with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
One pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. O Malley is keeping the position for now.
O Malley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
O Malley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
One wants to control from the top but O Malley keeps moving.
O Malley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
One lands a couple of elbows.
One throws an elbow that misses. O Malley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in One's guard. Nice move by O Malley!
One looking for submissions from the bottom but instead O Malley passes into half guard.
One is looking to improve his position.
One is defending against the submission attempts here by O Malley.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O Malley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
O Malley with a couple of short strikes.
One is rocked!
One felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
One is wriggling around trying to escape.
BOOM! O Malley connects with a massive shot to the dome!
One is still in real trouble! Can O Malley finish him?
One is working to get back to half guard.
One seems to have recovered his senses.
One slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. O Malley lands a nice short elbow.
O Malley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
One actively working from the bottom here.

O Malley moves nicely into side control.
O Malley connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused One some visible discomfort.
One manages to get back to half guard.
One trying to control from the bottom.
One is pressing down on O Malley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
One is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but O Malley frees his head nicely. Oh but One has switched to an armbar! O Malley is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
