Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Bryant (ranked 1395 p4p, 2064 weight class) and Quintus Dias (ranked 202 p4p, 279 weight class). Dias comes into a darkened arena with his song building. No More Hot Dogs kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kobe Bryant has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dias. Dias circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bryant throws a series of strikes that have Dias backpedaling.

Quintus Dias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bryant feints a jab promting Dias to slip. Bryant then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dias slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bryant tries for a takedown but Dias sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bryant will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dias tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bryant scores with a kick to the body.
Dias ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bryant moves away.
As Dias looks to move away, Bryant throws a big counter combo but Dias just gets out of the way.
A thudding body kick lands there by Dias!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dias throws a push kick but Bryant slaps the foot to one side.

Dias seems to have recovered his senses.
Dias rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bryant moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dias throws a head kick that misses.
Bryant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dias manages to avoid it.
Dias tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bryant manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A counter left hand to the body from Bryant misses its target.
Dias looks to land a body kick but Bryant moved away.
A head kick misses from Dias.
Bryant blocks a leg kick.
Bryant lands a nice hook to Dias's body. Dias takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bryant's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dias connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bryant scrambles back to his feet.
Bryant looks to land a combination. Dias sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dias works the jab nicely.

Bryant catches Dias with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Dias forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
