Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Averescu!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarlah keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Averescu.
Averescu misses the jab.
Averescu ducks under a wild hook from Tarlah.
Tarlah gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Averescu scores with a nice head shot.
Tarlah wants to clinch up but Averescu keeps it at a distance.
Tarlah lands a really nice looking cross but Averescu seems unphased.
It looks like Dan Averescu has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Averescu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tarlah looks to land a right hand but Averescu moved out of range.
Averescu throws a hook but Tarlah avoids it easily.
Tarlah takes a jab right on the kisser.
Averescu misses with a straight left.
Averescu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tarlah takes one to the side of the head.
Tarlah is rocked!
BOOM! Averescu lands a beautiful left hook that drops Tarlah. Tarlah tries to recover but Averescu is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Tarlah lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Averescu!
