Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jun Liu (ranked 456 p4p, 1598 weight class) and Bryan Gracie (ranked 71 p4p, 218 weight class). Gracie has chosen Limp Bizkit - Rollin' as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Jun Liu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a hook. Liu ducked under it nicely.
Liu throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

It looked like Liu was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gracie.

Liu tries to work over Gracie's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Gracie has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Liu uses from the top position.

Gracie has his foot on Liu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Liu works his way back into a safe position though.
Liu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Liu has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Liu defends well.

Gracie goes for a double leg but Liu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Liu continues to drive forward.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Liu, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
