Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Bidden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 28 - 0, fighting out of London, Keone Kapisi!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapisi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bidden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kapisi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice straight punches there by Kapisi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kapisi.
It looks like Joe Bidden has been cut.
Bidden throws a low kick, looking for Kapisi's leg but Kapisi calmly moves out of range.
An inside leg kick from Kapisi misses.
Kapisi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bidden.
Kapisi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bidden.
Kapisi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kapisi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bidden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kapisi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bidden's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kapisi under the eye.
Kapisi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kapisi's coach down at LET Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kapisi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nice body punch from Kapisi.
Bidden is breathing heavily.
Bidden doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bidden throws a jab but it's blocked by Kapisi.
Kapisi digs a good hook to Bidden's body.
Kapisi cracks Bidden with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bidden looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kapisi finish him?
Bidden is rocked!
Kapisi throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kapisi lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Bidden - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Kapisi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keone Kapisi!
Keone Kapisi really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that New Standard logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
