Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tobig Tofail!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 2, fighting out of New York, Dwayne Haskins!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tofail uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Haskins.
Tofail tries to keep at a distance but Haskins has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tofail breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tofail throws a looping overhand right but Haskins ducks down to avoid it.
A lazy left from Tofail finds it's target.
It looks like Dwayne Haskins has been cut.
Haskins misses with an uppercut. Tofail saw that one coming.
Tofail drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Tofail throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Haskins throws a hook to the side of Tofail's head but Tofail sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tofail was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tofail looks to land a right hand but Haskins moved out of range.
Tofail pivots, looking for a leg kick but Haskins is out of range and Tofail settles back down.
Tofail stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haskins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tofail half committed to a counter leg kick.
Tofail's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Haskins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tofail scrambles back to his feet.

Haskins forces Tofail back against the cage and clinches.
Tofail breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Haskins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tofail moves away.
Tofail appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Dwayne Haskins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haskins avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Haskins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A quick step to the side and Tofail tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haskins clinches up against the cage.
Tofail tries to throw a body punch but Haskins avoids it by throwing Tofail back against the cage.
Tofail breaks from the clinch.
Tofail swats away the attempt to clinch by Haskins.
Tofail ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tofail avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

I was talking to Tofail's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tofail breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Haskins swings for the body but Tofail moves out of range.
Haskins lands a head kick. Tofail smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Haskins throws a shot from downtown. Tofail moves away and avoids it.

It looked like Tofail wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

enabling Tofail to counter with a crisp jab.

and Tofail cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Haskins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tofail manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tofail steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haskins.

Haskins is looking to clinch but Tofail is avoiding it.
Haskins lands with a kick to the temple. Tofail shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Tofail is rocked!
Tofail gets tackled into the cage by Haskins. Haskins maintains the clinch.
Oh Tofail is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Haskins lands with a right to the head.
Haskins creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Tofail's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Tofail drops to his knees and Haskins pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
