Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jovi Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eoin Chai!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf moves away from the strike by Chai.
Chai connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wolf throws a body punch but Chai moves out of range.
Chai missing with a left hand there. Wolf was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wolf looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chai throws a looping overhand right but Wolf ducks down to avoid it.
Wolf seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Wolf digs a good hook to Chai's body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Chai.
Wolf connects with a single shot there.
Chai avoids a kick to the body.
Chai lands with a good body shot.
Wolf throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Chai counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Chai avoids the body shot from Wolf.
Chai with the inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wolf is looking to chop away at Chai's legs.
Chai with a nice calf kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chai moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Chai goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wolf misses with a looping left.
Chai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wolf tries to clinch there but Chai circles away.
Chai misses with a leg kick.
Wolf gets a clinch.
Wolf lands a nice uppercut.
Wolf swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A shot in the inside from Wolf.
Wolf drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chai pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chai circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Wolf to the canvas! Wolf doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Chai keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eoin Chai!
After winning the bout, Eoin Chai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
