Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mantak Garuda (ranked 50 p4p, 17 weight class) and Randy Randleman (ranked 12 p4p, 4 weight class). Garuda comes to the cage accompanied by Djiin Djiin. Randleman has chosen Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 36 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Mantak Garuda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Randleman! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randleman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Garuda seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Garuda scoring well with a low kick there.
Garuda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Randleman manages to avoid it. Randleman looks like he wants to counter punch here. Garuda misses with a left hand letting Randleman counter with a right hand.
It looks like Mantak Garuda has been cut. Randleman gets off balance looking for a body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Garuda throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Garuda swings widly with a right hand
and Randleman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garuda goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Randleman checks a leg kick nicely. Randleman misses with a head kick.
Garuda thinks about countering with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garuda jabbing away but nothing is landing. Garuda throws a shot from downtown. Randleman moves away and avoids it. Randleman tries a quick counter leg kick but Garuda is wise to it. Garuda throws a leg kick but Randleman checks it. Randleman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Garuda looks to throw a body kick and Garuda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Garuda bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Garuda connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Garuda throws a body shot but no joy. Garuda throws a predictable looking body shot
and Randleman counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randleman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Randleman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Mantak Garuda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Randleman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garuda throws a lazy uppercut
and Randleman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Randleman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Garuda scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Randleman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Garuda. Garuda thumps Randleman with a low kick. Randleman takes one on the button. Garuda scores with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garuda misses with a left hand and Randleman counters with a straight right hand. Randleman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Garuda throws a leg kick that misses. Randleman misses with a hook. Randleman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Garuda has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Garuda stuns Randleman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Randleman chopping away at his opponent's legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Garuda pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Garuda lands with a kick to the ribs.
Garuda lands a big uppercut and Randleman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Randleman looks OK. Garuda waves Randleman back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garuda walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Randleman checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. And Randleman responds with a good body kick, but Garuda manages to step out the way in time. Randleman has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Garuda. Garuda throws a poor cross that misses
and Randleman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mantak Garuda's cut is getting worse. Garuda throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Randleman throws out a counter right but Garuda avoids it with no problem. Garuda slips under a jab. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mantak Garuda dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mantak Garuda's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Randleman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Randleman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Garuda moves away. Garuda throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Randleman throws a counter combo. Garuda lands with a good body shot. Randleman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Garuda. Garuda obviously looking to wear him down.
Mantak Garuda is winning the standup battle so far. A jab lands there for Garuda. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Randleman sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Randleman's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Good leg kick by Garuda. Garuda lands a glancing blow to the side of Randleman's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garuda lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Randleman looks to throw the jab but Garuda is out of range. Garuda swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Garuda is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Randleman can do to turn this around? Garuda swings widly with a right hand
and Randleman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Garuda misses with a wild body shot. Nice body kick from Garuda. A jab from Randleman misses. Garuda throwing a counter right hand but Randleman manages to avoid it. Garuda works Randleman's body with a nice hook. Randleman is breathing heavily. Garuda cracks Randleman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Garuda has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Randleman to stand back up!
Randleman is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Randleman leaves his chin hanging out and Garuda seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Randleman crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mantak Garuda! Mantak Garuda decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
