The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diego keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Diego misses the target.
Diego throws the left hand but Santino avoids the punch easily.
Diego scores with a crisp jab that stopped Santino in his tracks.
Santino throws a chopping leg kick but Diego manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Santino avoids a punch combination nicely.
As Diego looks to move away, Santino throws a big counter combo but Diego just gets out of the way.
Diego throws a combination that misses
and Santino counters with a good low kick that Diego was not able to check.
Santino staying out of range there.
Diego takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sloppy strikes from Diego. Those never looked like landing.

Diego closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Diego fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Diego tries to work over Santino's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Santino escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Diego is looking to clinch but Santino is avoiding it.

Oooooh!!! Santino has knocked Diego down with a huge combo! Santino steps away and waves a wobbly Diego back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Sam Diego has been cut.
Santino ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Diego out cold! The fight is over!

After the fight, Bobby Santino was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
