Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Choke (ranked 284 p4p, 1231 weight class) and Arniquez Montgomery (ranked 45 p4p, 192 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arniquez Montgomery! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montgomery misses the jab. Choke tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Montgomery manages to circle out of the way. Choke looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Montgomery looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. As Montgomery backs away, Choke returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Montgomery dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Choke on the wrong end of a nice jab. Choke avoids the body shot from Montgomery.
Montgomery throws out a loose jab but Choke uses good head movement to avoid it. Montgomery swings and misses with a shot to the body and Choke counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Choke. Choke throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Choke postures up in Montgomery's guard and throws a big left but Montgomery blocks it. Choke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Choke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Choke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Choke in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Choke passes Montgomery's left leg - he's now in half guard. Choke works his way into full mount! Montgomery is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Choke has taken his back.
Choke is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Montgomery is defending well though. Choke let's go of the attempt for now. Montgomery looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Choke tightening his grip on Montgomery, looking for the choke.

Choke throws strikes from the back but Montgomery rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Montgomery. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Montgomery keeping full guard, as Choke tries to pass.
