Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rex Gunn (ranked 459 p4p, 616 weight class) and Brooke Marsden (ranked 25 p4p, 36 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by Miami. Marsden comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lunatic Fringe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Francis DeMontford and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A lazy left from Gunn finds it's target.
Marsden takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Marsden lands a nice shot to the body.
Marsden dips to his left and cracks Gunn with an uppercut!
Gunn scores with a sloppy right hand. Marsden should have avoided that one.
Marsden defending well as Gunn loads up on a big left hand.
Marsden drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gunn defends it well.
Gunn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Marsden with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gunn to score with a decent uppercut.
Gunn misses with a hook. Marsden ducked under it nicely.
Marsden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gunn looks to land a left hand but Marsden moved out of range nicely.
Gunn throws a hook but Marsden avoids it easily.

Marsden drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marsden controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Marsden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gunn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Marsden keeps trying to improve his position.
Marsden wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving.
Gunn is looking to stand up but Marsden isn't so interested in that idea.
Marsden pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gunn is keeping the position for now.
Marsden is still trying to improve position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gunn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Marsden is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Marsden buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Gunn counters with a straight right hand.
Rex Gunn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gunn blocks a low kick nicely.
Gunn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Marsden keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gunn.
Marsden throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Gunn counter with a right hand.
Nice defenses there by Gunn.
Marsden tries to move into range but Gunn moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Marsden is rocked!
Marsden avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marsden is still on wobbly legs! Can Gunn finish him?
Marsden looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Marsden keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gunn.
Brooke Marsden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Gunn misses the target.
Gunn cracks Marsden with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Marsden falls to his knees and Gunn doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
