Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Jones (ranked 1734 p4p, 2544 weight class) and Micka Slice (ranked 239 p4p, 328 weight class). Slice is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Legend. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Micka Slice!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Slice keeping his opponent close.
Jones tries to move into full mount but can't pass Slice's legs.
Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've been hearing good reports from Jones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Slice!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Slice badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jones around the waist but Jones pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jones is the winner by TKO! Jones jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Jones!
Kevin Jones bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
