Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy McCork (ranked 1203 p4p, 2044 weight class) and Elrey Dorado (ranked 160 p4p, 260 weight class). McCork's entrance music is Alternative Ulster by Stiff Little Fingers. A fine choice. Dorado is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: MY STORY. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy McCork!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elrey Dorado!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorado throws a low kick but it's checked well by McCork.
Dorado walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
McCork connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dorado momentarily.

McCork feints and as Dorado raises his hands in defense, McCork changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dorado has control of McCork's left arm, preventing McCork from doing any damage.

McCork has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

McCork fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dorado looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
