Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrice Devereaux (ranked 1449 p4p, 1199 weight class) and Zafir Farman (ranked 85 p4p, 69 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrice Devereaux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zafir Farman!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Devereaux counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Devereaux tries to pull guard but Farman won't allow it.
Farman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Farman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Devereaux sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Farman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Devereaux seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Devereaux has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
