Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Naoko Marui (ranked 3084 p4p, 1955 weight class) and Benson Bonanza (ranked 291 p4p, 192 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 25 - 1, fighting out of London, Naoko Marui!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Benson Bonanza!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonanza takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Marui swinging wildly here.
Bonanza throws out a counter right but Marui avoids it with no problem.
Marui scores with a nice right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Marui. Bonanza does a little dance to reset his feet.
Marui scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Marui misses with a combination
letting Bonanza counter with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marui throws a right and a left that Bonanza avoids nicely.
Marui misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Marui takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Naoko Marui has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marui throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bonanza lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Marui with a hook.
Marui lunges at Bonanza with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bonanza's hand.
Marui misses with a body shot.
Bonanza follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Marui lands a right hook to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Bonanza 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A big left from Marui misses.
Marui misses with a jab to the body
and Bonanza counters with a head kick that drops Marui - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
Marui is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marui is looking to improve his position.
Oh Marui is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bonanza takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Marui is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at JAG Battle Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bonanza lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Marui quite badly. Marui pulls Bonanza in close trying to recover. Bonanza postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Marui on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Marui doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benson Bonanza!
