Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Lomax (ranked 90 p4p, 245 weight class) and David Choke (ranked 14 p4p, 42 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 14 - 2, fighting out of New York, Vincent Lomax! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choke moves out of range as Lomax strikes. Choke with the counter takedown but Lomax avoids it easily. Lomax clinches with his opponent.
Our sources have told us that Lomax has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Choke has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lomax regains guard immediately. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Choke postures up in Lomax's guard and throws a big left but Lomax blocks it. Lomax is controlling Choke's posture. Choke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lomax swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lomax working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Choke. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Choke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Choke pushing down on Lomax's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Choke missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lomax is looking to control Choke's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lomax avoid being mounted? Lomax is positioning himself well to prevent Choke advancing to mount. Choke maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lomax could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Choke has cracked it and Lomax is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Choke!
