Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kiso Kisei (ranked 623 p4p, 785 weight class) and Akira Maeda (ranked 102 p4p, 119 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Kiso Kisei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Akira Maeda!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kisei tests Maeda's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That was a close round but I would say that Kiso Kisei will probably get the nod.

Maeda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kiso Kisei.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kisei, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
