PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Kostov (ranked 711 p4p, 468 weight class) and Ramone Rocksaw (ranked 104 p4p, 74 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Kostov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rocksaw moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kostov throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rocksaw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Rocksaw tries to move into range but Kostov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A bone on bone clash there as Rocksaw blocks the leg kick.

Kostov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rocksaw scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kostov doesn't seem bothered though.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rocksaw has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rocksaw shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
