Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Van-Plant (ranked 2789 p4p, 1403 weight class) and Bobby Morino (ranked 351 p4p, 193 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Rico Van-Plant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Morino! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morino gets caught flat footed, as Van-Plant shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Van-Plant has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Van-Plant drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Van-Plant jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Morino controlling Van-Plant's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morino controls Van-Plant momentarily but Van-Plant frees himself. Van-Plant drops back looking for a leg! Morino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Morino manages to kick Van-Plant off! Van-Plant jumps back into Morino's guard. Morino seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van-Plant with a flurry of punches that miss. Van-Plant is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van-Plant pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morino is keeping the position for now. Van-Plant drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Van-Plant jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Van-Plant would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Van-Plant prevents Morino from getting back to his feet. Morino wants to control the position but Van-Plant says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Van-Plant wants to stand up but Morino is controlling the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Van-Plant connects with a nice short shot to Morino's temple. Morino pushes Van-Plant off, looking to escape but Van-Plant dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Morino is forced to tap! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rico Van-Plant! A victorious Rico Van-Plant thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
