PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erasmo Bezerra (ranked 1626 p4p, 3495 weight class) and Senger Line (ranked 219 p4p, 399 weight class). Line has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bezerra shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Line is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bezerra is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Line to the mat. Line regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Bezerra has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Line is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bezerra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Line gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Line lands a big uppercut and Bezerra crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bezerra looks OK. Line waves Bezerra back to his feet!

Line looks to score with a jab to the body but Bezerra is just out of range.
Line wants to clinch up but Bezerra keeps it at a distance.
Line motions for Bezerra to come forward. Line throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Bezerra counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Line takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looked like Bezerra wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Line looks to throw the jab but Bezerra is out of range.
Line uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bezerra.
Bezerra lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Line throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Bezerra colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Line as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Bezerra is left battered and dazed whilst Line and his camp cheer!
