Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chu Ho Soon (ranked 1587 p4p, 1836 weight class) and Leo Vuce (ranked 90 p4p, 102 weight class). Ho Soon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Carl Orff - O Fortuna. Vuce has chosen MC Yankoo as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuce shoots in for a takedown but Ho Soon shows good takedown defense.

Ho Soon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ho Soon.

Ho Soon darts in and clinches Vuce up against the cage.
Ho Soon digs a right hand into Vuce's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Vuce's gas tank.

Vuce has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Ho Soon seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Vuce can turn it around.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Vuce is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ho Soon to keep the fight standing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Vuce fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ho Soon sprawls well initially but Vuce persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Vuce is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ho Soon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ho Soon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vuce can do to turn this around?

Ho Soon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Vuce is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ho Soon is controlling him.

Vuce throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Ho Soon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vuce cracks Ho Soon with a solid left hand.
Vuce must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ho Soon has his hands on Vuce's head, controlling the position.

Vuce drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ho Soon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ho Soon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ho Soon!

Ho Soon decides to stand up, so the ref orders Vuce to his feet.

Vuce lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Ho Soon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vuce, pushing him back against the cage.

Vuce jumps guard and drags Ho Soon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Vuce is working an open guard so Ho Soon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ho Soon is pawing at Vuce, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Vuce's nose. Vuce is badly hurt! Ho Soon pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Vuce tries desperately to hold on but Ho Soon is relentless in his assault! As Vuce receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Ho Soon away and this one is in the books!

After winning the bout, Chu Ho Soon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
