Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mate Orsic (ranked 874 p4p, 624 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 124 p4p, 95 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Orsic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja. Lester is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Get Back - Ludacris. Mate Orsic had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsic misses with a few strikes there.
Lester moves away from the strike by Orsic.
Moe Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orsic throws a poor cross that misses
and Lester counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lester ducks right into an uppercut from Orsic.
Orsic scores with a three punch combo!

Lester is rocked!
Orsic throws a right and a left that Lester avoids nicely.
Orsic shoots in for a takedown but Lester shows good takedown defense.
Orsic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lester.
Lester stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Orsic has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tran MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Lester catches Orsic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Lester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Orsic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Orsic looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lester has picked Orsic up and slammed him! Orsic can't keep hold of the triangle and Lester manages to pass to side control!

Lester is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Orsic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lester can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lester loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Orsic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lester doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lester manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Orsic can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lester controls the pace.

Orsic takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Orsic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lester cracks Orsic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Lester might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

A relieved looking Mate Orsic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
