The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gage avoids the head kick by Dorkens.
Dorkens goes for a double leg but Gage avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gage continues to drive forward.
Gage feinted with a counter takedown.

Dorkens drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gage has Dorkens pulled in close to control his posture.
Dorkens wants to pass the guard but Gage is keeping the position.
Gage has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dorkens trying to control the position from guard on top but Gage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gage is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gage is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dorkens is posturing up here but Gage has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Dorkens tries to roll out but it's too tight and Dorkens has to tap! Slick submission there by Gage!
