Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kristoph Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kip Stern!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Stern
and Kringle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stern will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stern throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Kringle to counter with a crisp jab.
Stern takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Kip Stern has been cut.
Kringle misses with a straight left.
Stern misses with an uppercut.
Kringle swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Stern swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kringle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stern waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kringle.

Kringle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stern sprawling to the canvas! Stern rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kringle finish him?!

Stern is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kringle blocks a leg kick.
A quick step to the side and Kringle tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stern is still on wobbly legs! Can Kringle finish him?
Kip Stern seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Kringle.
Stern seems to have recovered his senses.
Kringle gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stern.

It looks like Kristoph Kringle has been cut.

Kringle sends Stern crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kringle is motioning to the referee to let Stern up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Stern is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kringle.
BAM! Kringle delivers a spinning backfist that drops Stern like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Kristoph Kringle!
An out of breath Kristoph Kringle thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
