Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanderson Machado (ranked 92 p4p, 95 weight class) and Kenny Smith (ranked 16 p4p, 17 weight class). Machado comes into the arena with El Barrio blaring out of the sound system. Smith has chosen IS THIS LOVE as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wanderson Machado!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Smith!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Machado.
It looks like Kenny Smith has been cut.
Machado getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Machado misses with an uppercut
and Smith counters with a nice kick to the body.
We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Machado lands with a nice body punch.
Machado fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Machado lands a big uppercut and Smith crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Smith looks OK. Machado waves Smith back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machado throws an off balance right hand
and Smith counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Wanderson Machado has been cut.
Machado misses with a lunging right hand
letting Smith counter with a right hand.
Machado throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.
Smith let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Machado's jab looks to have found its range, popping Smith under the eye.
That has opened up Kenny Smith's cut even more.
Machado lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machado misses with a right hand
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Machado missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Smith counters with a body kick.
Machado walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smith checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Machado jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Smith on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Machado scores with a hook to the body. Smith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Machado misses with a body kick.
Smith only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Machado tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Smith is able to avoid easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Smith.
Smith tries to move into range but Machado moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The cut above Kenny Smith's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Machado cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smith looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Machado finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Are you kidding me?! Machado ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Smith clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

After winning the bout, Wanderson Machado thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Kenny Smith stepped up to the mic, saying 'You bastard! You killed Kenny!'.
