Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calico Reddick (ranked 3912 p4p, 3943 weight class) and Pat McGarrett (ranked 465 p4p, 467 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calico Reddick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat McGarrett!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reddick shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Reddick was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Reddick wants to control but McGarrett is keeping him busy.
Reddick is really struggling to control McGarrett but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Reddick fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McGarrett to the ground. Reddick is now in McGarrett's guard.

McGarrett has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Reddick has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Reddick pushes McGarrett back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Reddick has hold of McGarrett's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McGarrett manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
