Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Doback (ranked 1180 p4p, 1241 weight class) and Manus Murphy (ranked 180 p4p, 191 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dale Doback! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manus Murphy! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doback stuffs the takedown. Nice shot by Doback. Murphy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Murphy shoots in but no luck this time. Doback throwing a counter right hand but Murphy manages to avoid it. Doback connects with a jab. Murphy walks into a straight right hand from Doback. Doback throws a leg kick which misses Murphy's front leg but catches the back leg as Murphy tries to avoid it. A slapping leg kick lands for Doback.
Murphy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doback sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dale Doback has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manus Murphy. Nice defenses there by Murphy. Doback throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Doback throws a hook to the side of Murphy's head but Murphy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Murphy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Doback defends it well. Murphy shoots in for a takedown but Doback shows good takedown defense. Murphy throws a hook but Doback avoids it easily. Doback swings and misses with a shot to the body and Murphy counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've been told by Doback's head coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Good exchange - Doback coming out on top. Doback throws an off balance right hand
and Murphy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murphy misses with a double jab
and Doback rattles Murphy with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Murphy tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Doback dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Murphy stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dale Doback! Dale Doback gave a mention to Brooklyn Threads in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales). Manus Murphy was interviewed post fight and said 'WTF??? How did that happen?'.
