Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Hamada (ranked 2003 p4p, 1646 weight class) and Sirus Hall (ranked 256 p4p, 229 weight class). Hall has chosen Thin Lizzy - Cold Sweat as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryo Hamada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sirus Hall! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamada chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hall gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hall tries to clinch up but Hamada circles away and keeps his distance. Hamada scores with a leg kick.
Hall cracks a nice hook into Hamada's ribs. Hamada missing with a left hand there. Hall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A nice side step and Hall releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Hall walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Hamada swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hall takes one on the button. Hamada throws the left hand but Hall avoids the punch easily. Hall keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Ryo Hamada has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hamada throws a right hand that Hall ducks under and follows up with a left that Hall also avoids with ease. Hall with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hamada to score with a decent uppercut. Hall is looking to clinch but Hamada is avoiding it.
Hamada throws a quick counter head kick but Hall was just out of range. Hamada throws the left hand but Hall avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Hamada. That snapped Hall's head back.

Hall throws a series of punches but Hamada avoids them all with ease. Hall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hall landing a few strikes. Hamada tries to bench press Hall off him but Hall keeps the position. Hamada is trying to control Hall's posture but Hall avoids it. Hall tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hamada's legs. Hall is looking to take a break and control but Hamada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hamada tries to escape but Hall is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hamada knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hamada is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hamada is not content to let Hall control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall is trying to get an arm triangle but Hamada is defending well. Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hamada keeps working. Hamada pushes Hall away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hall gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hall has an Americana. Hamada didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hall is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hall hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
