Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikail Spartakov (ranked 1202 p4p, 1991 weight class) and Mandlenkosi Thulani (ranked 52 p4p, 111 weight class). Thulani comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Zara - Sojaboy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikail Spartakov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mandlenkosi Thulani! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thulani takes a swing at Spartakov's ribcage but misses. An attempted straight right counter from Spartakov misses the target. Spartakov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thulani's jab looks to have found its range, popping Spartakov under the eye.
It looks like Mikail Spartakov has been cut. Thulani looks to land a right hand but Spartakov moved out of range. A little feinted left hand from Spartakov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Spartakov getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Thulani scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Thulani staying out of range there. Thulani blocks a jab. Thulani throws out a loose jab but Spartakov uses good head movement to avoid it. Thulani swings widly with a right hand
and Spartakov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A big left from Spartakov misses. Spartakov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thulani. As Thulani backs away, Spartakov returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thulani scores with a nice strike. Thulani uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spartakov.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Thulani darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Thulani ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spartakov moves away. Thulani dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Spartakov throws a hook to the side of Thulani's head but Thulani sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Spartakov is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Thulani's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Thulani's corner calls for a 1-2. Thulani obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mikail Spartakov's cut is getting worse. Thulani throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thulani connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Thulani misses with a hook. Spartakov ducked under it nicely. Spartakov swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Spartakov throws the left hand but Thulani avoids the punch easily. Spartakov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Spartakov thinks about countering with a body kick. Spartakov throws a body punch but Thulani moves out of range. Thulani drops Spartakov with a beautiful combination! Spartakov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thulani is looking for the KO!
Spartakov is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thulani cracks Spartakov with a left hook right on the temple and Spartakov goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Thulani lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Spartakov is OK!

A very excited looking Mandlenkosi Thulani made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet.
