Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Porter (ranked 4286 p4p, 22503 weight class) and Panda One (ranked 449 p4p, 506 weight class). Jay Porter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Panda One's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Porter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda One! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One swings away with a body shot that misses
and Porter counters with a stiff right hand. One showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Porter.
Porter stuffs the takedown. A left and a right from Porter both land. Nice combination. Porter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. One shoots and misses and Porter counters with a nice uppercut. One takes one to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porter throws a jab but it's blocked by One. One is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. One with a lazy takedown attempt and Porter counters with a straight right hand. Jay Porter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Panda One. One on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Porter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. One throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As One looks to move away, Porter throws a big counter combo but One just gets out of the way. One takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Porter scores with a shot to the body.
Porter clinches up with One and pushes him back against the cage. One is trying to pull guard but Porter turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Porter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
One thows a left - swing and a miss! One misses with a left hand and Porter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Porter misses the shot to the body. Porter misses the shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Porter can pounce on him.
One shoots in but Porter avoids the takedown attempt easily. Porter misses with a two punch combination.
Porter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. One leaves Porter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! A big right from One misses. Porter is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Porter scores with a nice right hand.
Porter misses with a few strikes there.
One changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. One throws a combination that misses and Porter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Porter throws a right hand that One ducks under and follows up with a left that One also avoids with ease. Porter lands a nice shot to the body.
Porter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Panda One has been cut. Porter drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! One is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Porter wants to control from the top but One keeps moving. Porter sitting in guard here, content to control. Porter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. One swivels though and keeps the full guard. Porter trying to control but One is working from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Porter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Panda One's cut. That's time! Back to the action! One throws out a loose jab but Porter uses good head movement to avoid it. Porter keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Porter. One slips under a jab from Porter. Porter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? One is fending him off so far but Porter persists. Nope, One circles away and we're back to standing. One feints the counter takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from One. Porter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. One throws an off balance right hand
and Porter counters with a nice body shot. Jay Porter is winning the standup battle so far. Porter fails to land with a series of punches.
One misses with an uppercut
and Porter counters with a left and a right that stings One.
That's one minute gone in the round. One's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Porter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! One scrambles back to his feet. Porter fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Porter misses the shot to the body. Porter throws a nice looking combination but One bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jay Porter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. One throws a looping overhand right but Porter ducks down to avoid it. One misses with a hook to the body
and Porter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. One throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A counter left hand to the body from Porter misses its target. Porter is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. One scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. One shoots and misses and Porter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps One thinking. Jay Porter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. One swings for the body but Porter moves out of range.
One closes the distance but Porter moves to the side and Porter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. One is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Porter misses with a wild combination.
One dodges the punch combination from Porter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Porter moves out of range of the strikes. One lands a jab to the head.
One walks into a jab. One misses with a combination
and Porter counters with a straight right hand. Porter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches One napping and manages to drive through into side control! One is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. One is not content to let Porter control the position. One blocking the ground and pound attempt from Porter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Porter. Porter tries to pass the half guard into mount. One knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Porter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Porter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but One does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Porter prevents One from improving his position. One blocking the ground and pound attempt from Porter. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. One is staying active underneath Porter, who seems content to just control the action from this position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Porter dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Panda One's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Porter scores with a three punch combo!

That's two minutes gone in the round. One takes one to the chin there. One chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Porter can pounce on him.
One moves into range and clinches up with Porter. Porter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that One can do to turn this around? One can't find room to land a body shot as Porter controls the action.
Porter is trying to drag One to the mat but One just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. One has a couple of punches blocked by Porter.
A shot in the inside from One. Porter manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! One is fighting to break Porter's control of his arms but Porter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One looking to sit in guard and control but Porter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
One is looking for a triangle but Porter pushes his legs off easily.
One looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Porter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Porter trying to control but One is working from the bottom. Panda One has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! One is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Porter is aware though and is defending well. Porter controlling from the top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Porter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as One works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Porter showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Porter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
